Website hosting and server logs
This website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., and its EU affiliate). When you access the site, the hosting infrastructure automatically processes technical connection data — including your IP address, the requested URL, the time of the request, the referring page and your browser user agent — for the purpose of delivering the site and protecting it against abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation). A data processing agreement is in place with the hosting provider.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
This website sets no cookies, embeds no advertising or tracking pixels and runs no third-party analytics. No profile of your visit is created.
Contacting us
If you contact us by email or telephone, the data you provide — your name, contact details and the content of your message — is processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any resulting business relationship. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
Business email for this domain is operated on Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited) under a data processing agreement. Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle the matter and thereafter in line with statutory retention obligations under Austrian commercial and tax law (generally seven years).
Recipients
Personal data is not sold and is not passed on to third parties for their own purposes. It is disclosed only to processors acting on our instructions (hosting, email) and to authorities or advisors where we are legally required or entitled to do so.
Transfers outside the EEA
Our hosting and email providers are companies whose corporate groups are headquartered in the United States. Where processing involves a transfer outside the EEA, it is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to your personal data (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise any of these rights, contactoffice@architect5.com.
